K|Spa/ Massage Therapist, Reiki Master, Aromatherapist, Pranayama facilitator
My journey began about 8 years ago, when I was faced with some unexpected life challenges. After sitting in depression and resentment for far too long, I decided to take back my life. Rather than allowing fear to rule me, I started to search out different modalities and methods of healing. The beginning of my journey started with the discovery of essential oils. As I studied the oils, I began to hear their medicine and was able to ask them and receive their guidance. As my oil journey progressed I was introduced to reiki and its healing qualities. At which point I decided to be attuned. I did this slowly and finally completed Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master-Teacher Degree in 2014, with Karen Felice. After being attuned I started to practice on my children and started to infuse the oils. As these two traditions unfolded massage crossed my path. I quickly fell in love and saw just how the body speaks to us on a daily basis. While the other techniques work more on an energetic level, massage works directly with the tissue. Working with this method allows us to physically release trapped emotions. After I finished my massage certification at Somatherapy Institute in 2017, I met Michael Brain Baker with The Breath Center, and started my study of pranayama (breathwork). Working with prana and the breath is an honor and an opportunity that I will forever be grateful for, it is the piece that connects all of these modalities together. This combination allows for generational healing, a cleansing of the tissues, and a clearing of the auric field. Through this work one can heal on a deeper level with a deeper understanding. If we can heal our emotional self then we can begin to heal our physical self. It has been an honor and a privilege to work with these ancient modalities and I look forward to the many years of teachings they have to offer me.
